As I understand it, he's not quite up to full fitness levels... So he popped him in at LB, where he is more than competent - then pushed him forward for last 15mins, when Parr came on and we were 3-1 up.

Hope to see him in midfield very soon tho, as he really can control, read and boss a whole game very well!

Why would he not be up to fitness? He has no injury problems and was playing every game for Celtic before he arrived.

Scottish football, nothing against it of course, is nothing compared to Premier League football.

To take an experience player from the SPL and then drop him straight into a defensive midfield position is way too much of a risk.

But he was dropped straight in at LB. The full back positions are arguably the most demanding in the modern game, with the need to run the entire line overlapping your winger as well as being responsible for defending your own flank.

I just jest with you ade, my point is this management lark is overrated imo i would like to see your average joe fan be randomly selected to manage a top ten premier league side for a season from his bedroom, he selects the players in his budget from the chairman on skype, lets his coaches train the team in the week then send his starting 11 in by email a hour before the game then watch the live stream whilst texting any subs to be used, I am SURE he would do better than some who do it as a full time gig.

OK I give in. You're right I would probably do better than that ex-Norwich goalie!

Lol ade,

Ince doesn't have a clue when not in possession? Other then when he ran into a loose ball when bolasie went down, to score?

Yeah that's when they aren't attacking us with everyone in their team aware of what each can do and has been doing in training.

I meant when we're in our own 3rd and PI is supposed to be the 5th man in midfield in front of the 2 midfielders. You have a look next time, it often passed him by. He needs to work on that part of his game, and TP will make sure he does. Puncheon was giving him some tuition in the 1st half vs WBA.
