Hello, as a Gay man, I would like to see proportionate gay/lesbian representation in the Palace Crystals. So, if, for argument's sake, we can agree that 5% of the population, is Lesbian or Gay then I would like to see that reflected in the make up of the Palace Crystals. Today, there were, I think, 12 members dancing on the pitch. Of course, I have no idea if any of the girls are lesbian but nevertheless there still should still be room statistically for one or two gay men to be part of the troupe. What does the liberal, free thinking membership of HOL think of my suggestion?

Yes, you are quite correct. My mistake. Perhaps, though we could have a Gay man or two flaunting their sexuality (as the girls do) every second home game.

But I have no doubt the BRIT school could provide a diverse troop to complement the Crystals.
Here is an article on Statistics: I'm sure you will all be delighted with the 'Gay Capital?' section, where it states The percentage of Britons saying they're gay, lesbian or bisexual is far higher in London than anywhere else in the UK - 2.5% compared to just 1.1% in Northern Ireland and 1% in the East of England.

Isn't the huge man-love we all have for Julian Speroni enough for you?

Start your own outside the ground. Leave crystals as they are.

The op is quite right, let's have an 15stone butch lesbo amongst our crystal cheerleaders, cropped hair, tattoo , jeans and check shirt, that wouldn't look out of place would it?

You could start your own Gay dance troupe and contact SP to see if you can book yourselves on a matchday in support of the Anti-Homophobia campaign. However, so that you are seen to be socially representative your group must consist of 95 percent straight males and at least two bigots. I'm in!
So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |
