My wife has said I can only go to the West Brom game tomorrow if I take our baby with me. In fairness she's never complained before and she is heavily pregnant... Has anyone taken a baby in before? I'm in the family stand so you'd think it would be OK - just don't want to turn up tomorrow and get told that she's not allowed in.
Man up FFS. Give her a backhander and tell her you'll do what you want.

Thanks fellas - maybe I won't take her tomorrow with the bad weather, but would like to in the future - need to get her into it while she's young!

You can take any child into selhurst for free until they are 3. Took my son to the Fulham game in the main stand he was 2 sat on my lap no one asked or cared it is very tight tho so just think about all the bags you will have to bring. Also no changing rooms for nappies etc
Completely no suitable facilities for a baby. I have 2 kids under 3. Never taken them and won't until they are at least around 8. Pointless before then, IMO. Saying that, there was a couple who had STs a couple of rows in front of mine in the upper holmesdale. They took their baby (I'm talking no more than 3 months first time I saw it). Just slept the whole time. Not at all bothered by the noise. How old is your little one? Guess it depends a lot on their temperament/personality. But as the rules go, you can take a baby in, no problem.

I took all three of mine when they were babes in arms. Didn't have to pay, just had them on my lap It was fine although 90 minutes is a long time. The noise didn't seem to bother them. Back then the away fans were quite close to us and tended to be noisier so to my annoyance my nippers were fascinated by them, not the Palace fans or the footie. Find yourself a nice middle aged woman sitting nearby and you may be able to offload the little'un for a while. They can't resist babies. To be honest neither can I but people tend to be more reluctant to give blokes a go on their babies.

It was not cold he loved it and we both had a good time. Took him to Wigan as well loved that so maybe you should think before writing on here about how people look after there own kids.

Children are all different. Some just sleep through games. Some sleep during the day. Its not like a two year old has to get up for school. Try going to Spain, you would be reporting everyone to social services. Generally parents care and do what is right by their kid. It's just not on to be so judgemental without any cause.

Can't believe that anyone would even consider taking a baby to a football match.

I was just a 3 month old bambino when my mum an dad took me to the Palace for the first time, they remember it well, stood in the Holmesdale taking it in turns to hold me, had no problems but it was 1983! a 1-1 draw with Fulham, probably a bit different now, but I say if it is allowed and you feel comfortable with taking your own baby to Palace then why not, depending on conditions like weather too which tomorrow may be a bit cold an wet? Just to add after that game as a 3 month baby, it was to be my last game until my dad took me again on 26 dec 1993 as a 10 yr old, another 1-1 draw with Wimbledon, as my mum an dad decided to move from the Glade in Shirley up to Cambridgeshire, but that's when I really remember going to Palace, will never forget the sound of the Holmesdale terrace an i fell in love with the Eagles then, later too to realise being born in stone park Bekenham that I can be proud to support the team of where in was born, no matter how much stick I got from the glory hunters growing up in cambridge then, so my point being, although it may feel great taking your baby an wanting to get them into the red an blue so soon, it wont remember a thing, wait a few years down the line mate when they can remember the day like I did an get the Palace bug an hop on to the best roller coaster in the world or are you taking your baby cos you cant get a baby sitter an don't wanna miss the Palace game? lol in that case that's superb commitment willing to take a baby just so you don't miss the game lol EAGLES!
