Ince article - permanent move if all goes well?

Great news. To be fair I like what I hear from the lad. I think he's level headed and focused on playing football. Can't wait to see him walk out in Palace colours tomorrow.

Interesting how Ince says it was Parish working his magic with Blackpool, which got the deal over the line. I thought Moody was brought in to do the football deals, so would be interested to know what role he played in it.

I know for fact Gerry Francis wrapped up the Puncheon deal, Steve Parish brought in Ince, I think Moody might have been Dann and Hennessey.

From what we read in the press it seems that Oyston was playing a bit of brinksmanship so you really do need the boss to be dealing with the boss in cases like this as only he would have the necessary authority to change the terms

Bet he stays if we don't go down. Guaranteed 30 plus games in The Prem next season if he is good enough with us as opposed to 10-15 probably with a 'big' club. That'll swing it. We will, of course, have to alter our pay structure too if he is the business. Maybe not..as we will not have to pay any transfer , maybe a very big golden handshake for Tom, and of course his Dad, will be part of a "undisclosed" deal. Then he maybe happy to go along with our wage structure.

He looks very good as a Palace player. He's also saying the right things to get the fans on his side. I would love this to happen if we stayed up but I wouldn't bet on it.

Moody talked about the deal on Palace Player and how he had tried to sign him for Cardiff and built a good relationship then...it's seems the deal was one of the easier ones from the player point of view, but needed some Chairman to Chairman stuff to sort the deal out
