For all his (modest) virtues he is not, and never will be, Premier League quality.

Ledley for KG. Ince for Yala. Dann for Gabbs. Once Muzza is fit, Muzza for Jerome. Looking forward to Saturday now.

If we are going to score more goals we need our midfield to be more attack minded. KG is fine doing the clearing up with Jedi but over the half way line he runs out of ideas very quickly and almost always loses the ball. I am certain he will not be with us next season as I think it highly unlikely he will be offered a new contract. Jedi as the holding player, with Guerdiora and Ledley alongside him is the way to go for me. If one is high up the pitch the other should drop back a bit. Our wide players (Ince and Puncheon to start) are both guys who like to be in the penalty area. Chamakh should be the lone striker though with these players he will not be isolated. When Murray is back then a re-think may be needed as I would have him in the team in a heartbeat but I would not consider dropping Chamakh.

I've always viewed KG as a mid table championship player. He's done very well for himself considering.
