Yes they can, I'm hopeful of a draw as long as we take the game to them like we did at Selhurst

Sunderland have been playing well ever since Poyet turned up, I've had a feeling for some time that they will be fine. Relegation favourites have to be Cardiff and Norwich. All the rest of the teams have something about them, whether it be style, steel, managerial experience or simply too much quality. Thats my take anyway, it will be nip tuck until the last few weeks, maybe we'll be safe by then, be pretty boring if we were though. My prediction is that we'll need 5 points from our last 5 games and will get a point at home to City that will see us safe and them crowned Champions Edited by rawpalace05 (01 Feb 2014 3.03pm)

We still have to play most of the teams around us. It's all very much in our hands. While it's good to see other teams at the bottom end of the table slipping up, our fate this season will be determined by how we perform rather than worrying about how our rivals are doing.

Fear not, I think most teams will be more concerned about us than we are of them.Good times ahead.

And if we don't improve our goalscoring then it will be "Curtains".

The Cardiff/Norwich game is an interesting one for us. Can't work out what result would be best.A Norwich win would leave Cardiff adrift at the bottom. On the other hand, that would mean Norwich would be basically another team out of the relegation mire. If we can miraculously pinch a Win tomorrow I'd guess a draw between those two would be outstanding for us.Exciting really.

Well if we carry on the way we have against our rivals (is it 18 points from our games against relegation rivals?) then we will be fine. We're certainly due a few points against the big boys too, our performances so far have merited that already. Continuity is key. Only really Saints that are Mid-table, no other bugger is safe. Exciting

Position is irrelivent, points are what count. The situation is that in any given week teams around us will have either difficult or winnable games. What is important is that we're doing well in the winnable games.
