Waste of space, should have taken him to court for breach of contract.

Bit harsh. Just read his twitter thanking CPFC and wishing us good luck (via Deano's post). A professional response from him potentially calls for a bit more from you.

Cock and balls.

In no other profession would anyone tolerate an employee never being able to do his job due to alcoholism and/or personal issues whilst maintaining them on their full wage.

Kindest thing we could have done is taken him to court and forced him to get a grip and revive his career to pay his wages back.

Precisely, it's not any other profession, is it? (and have you never heard of Jeffrey Bernard?) We came to the right decision over his future due to his problems. He wishes us well, you should do the same. I don't live in court claims culture. Get over it. Move on.

Also, you're not his employer!

So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet.

At least this may stop the monthly "what's happened to darcey Blake?" Thread

Oh no, there will surely still be those who haven't paid attention who will start a thread on this at least a couple more times.

Cardiff City must have known about this when they sold him to us?

Malcy Mackay and Cardiff are devious barstewards for selling us a pup.

Never trust a Jock working for Taffs!

At his best he was a good championship player, but great that he's now off our books

Besides the fact your not his employer and you don't seem able to type a rational sentence he would be protected in a "normal" job certainly for a while.

I'm sure he doesn't like being an alcoholic anymore than Kenny.
