Croydon Council don't manage how police officers use their time and nor should they.

Didnt help our point with the young lad running on the pitch and nearly attacking their keeper. Luckily the stewards were doing their job.

6 stabbings in 10 days, where?

And what's it got to do with Croydon Council?

It's been on BBC London News when reporting something. "This or that happened today in Croydon, where 6 stabbings in 10 days have happened x close to the town centre."

I think I've seen it on The Advertiser after clicking through to one of their scoops.

I think the local councilors and MP's have opportunities to liaise with The Met Police and comment on incidents and trends but I agree it's ultimately a Met Police responsibility. (And the parents, and the individuals with short life expectancy)

Maybe that's the HF angle, influence a body that can influence The Met. The HF can't influence The Met after all.

Its to do with this [Link] & the stupid amount of event stewards that were drafted in for the stoke game to do the job our normal stewards do.

This all goes back to a Croydon councillor (cant remember his name) who gave the order & who has had it in for us for a while.

I took the protest as there have been x amount of stabbings in Croydon this past week yet Croydon council seem more interested in an hour & a half of bothering football fans than tackling the shocking amount of violent crime & crime in general that is happening in Croydon.

A little simplistic perhaps but I wholly support the HF sentiment.

The mountains are calling & I must go.

Holding up a banner will no doubt put a stop to the gangs stabbing each others in Croydon. The Police have been much better this senason so don't see the point. There have been a few Palace fans jailed for fights that took place and different incidents that don't get press. Not helping ourselves.

Yes it did get press. Like the press we got from the Hull Daily Mail who removed all comments but keep up a fake story of us attacking Hull fans.

still dont see what croydon council have to do with it anyway, do they stab people now then?

And why was there so much fuss about the stewards at the Stoke game? oh yeah, they were checking peoples tickets and making sure they were in the right seats - how disgusting.

grow up boys, dont give the council the press they want as they are the only ones who'll win, guaranteed.

Why not hold a banner up protesting about the beer prices?, you'll get much more sympathy then.
