I think Pulis got his subs spot on actually, changing his system when Hull were beginning to dominate caused momentum to shift back in our favour.

It was a tremendous defensive display all round, we had just as many attempts on goal as Hull if not more.

I do agree Jedinak was poor, however final 15 minutes when it really mattered he was as domineering as ever.

Totally agree with this. Pulis did a great job.

Paddy coming in stopped the long balls ooming in to their strikers.
O'Keefe did a great job on Livermore and pushed the game back up the field.
Wilbs came on and did what he does best at the corner flag.

Pulis did a great job with a very limited bench. He never makes like for like switches and always looks to change the game.

Give him more options by Friday please!

The subs were brilliant tactics. We went 5 at the back when we were under so much pressure, then they switched to 4 at the back themselves and we responded by going back to 4 and matching them in midfield, by replacing Gabbidon with O'Keefe. Pulis outthought Bruce. Yes, it was scary at times but it was effective.

Spot on

Rode our luck well. About time we had the benefit of curious refereeing

This all day long. Beautiful management by TP. Tactics spot on with a limited team, but got exactly what we needed. 10/10.

Its wierd, Hull fans having raving about how good Jedi was tonight, and some of them were wishing they had a player like him in their team, yet we are slating him for his passing...

Wierd how 2 sets of fans saw their opponents players so differently. I thought Jedi's passing crumbled as soon as we took the lead...

If Hull had a decent playmaker, they would have torn us apart. Goes to show that all you need to beat a team like hull is 4 players at the back that play like centre backs, a rb that is playing in midfield that plays like a centre back, a defencive midfielder that plays like a centre back and a forward that generally plays in midfield that has turned his fortunes around by playing like a centre back!!!

Parked the bus 65 minutes in...9 times out of 10 that would have ended badly. Nonplusing subs from Pulis.

Jedi having possibly the worst game ever in a Palace shirt.

Hull missing one chance after another.

Strangest second half of football I've watched in years.

Fans certainly did as much as anyone to get the 3 points. Delaney was a beast.

Winning playing ugly... still 3 points at end of the day! Sure, that won't happen every game - but hey - we are 14th in league and took 6 points off our rivals

All of the above!
We have got nothing out of games where we have played better so I am happy to take last night's win.
Jedinak was as poor as I have ever seen him - he couldn't do anything right last night but as always he was in the thick of it and as he is our best player by far I don't care if he has the odd bad one - he is immense for us week in and week out!
First half we were good and the second half was just horrible.
The Ref was awful - to both sides - but I just don't care - 3 points winning ugly against the ugliest Manager in the League!
Just brilliant!!

I actually thought t was refreshing to see Pulis changing the shape of the team to 'match up' with Bruce's tinkering...and it worked. Really good to see that he's prepared to do it and show's he's comfortable with the players giving them that responsability.

Agreed tactically very good from Pulis. They aren't a bad cside and will stay up so to get 6 points from them is excellent.

Jedinak had a shocking 20 minutes in the 2nd half when he couldn't pass the ball but his dominance in the middle is imporatant.
