I've just mentioned this in the transfer thread but even if he has heard of them and we're interested he isn't going to admit it as Cardiff and Fulham will suddenly become interested lol.

Tug of war over Bjellend, then?

How much cash will be spunked over Bjellend I wonder?

I hope he comes.

Maybe this is a target where we can pull it off?

Let's hope he's not a signing that causes us to go down.

I hear he's a bit like Vinnie Jones - a hard man.

Let's hope we don't c*ck this one up.

Come to think of it, we should fire Ian Moody and put Tom Daley in charge of recruiting. I bet he could come up with a Bjellend.

You've been shown up, mate. That's what happens when you trawl fan messageboards for your 'scoops'.

??? I'm not trawling, I don't have enough time to do that. I put links to stories up for fans to read.

Never looked on a messageboard for a 'scoop' ever.

f***ing moron. This says it all. A newspaper reporter who openly says "I don't bother to research my stories...I just post them."

Well, at least now you know why no one takes your roll of toilet paper seriously.

The player is fictitious. You could only have known about this by 1. reading the BBS or, worse, 2. lifting the story from another paper.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Haha, I never said I didn't research my stories. I do that every time. F**king moron? Yeah, what's next? You want me to be open and interact, that's fine, but don't swear.

At least I know now? No, never did. Only a few don't decide to read it. Majority of fans enjoy the work I do for the website and paper.

guys, all he is doing is covering an interview and then reporting it - sure, another reporter would then google the player, find out what he can, to flesh out the story - this is where he would discover a wind up or not, but seriously, no need to bash him.

I expect the paper now do a follow up article, tongue in cheek of other jokes in footy - if you can't laugh at yourself, then what's the point?

Seriously guys, no need for negativity - at all

Yep I agree with this point of view. I have just re-read the article again and can't see what the Advertiser has done wrong in this instance. It even states the national media as its source and then quotes Pulis on his response! I can't see the issue to be honest and I'm just relieved Pulis hasn't been duped!

I'm confused. Google thinks Bjelland is a real player, so why are people saying he's fictitious? [Link]

Also abusing the Adder journo is pointless. He's only reporting what TP said in his presser, calling him a f*cking moron is way over the top imo.

Granted he was late on the story (in that Seth had already posted Pulis' comments before he posted the Advertiser version), and I don't personally bother following the links purely because I know I will already know the detail of the story from other sources around the press and the HOL long before the Adverstiser run with it, but I don't think he's done anything particularly wrong in posting it.
