Out of the FA Cup, boo hoo and we were gonna win it as well.......

also regardless where WIGAN were last year this year they are championship level this year
they might have spent a lot of money on players, you cant use that as an excuse because palace dont spend


That is a completely naive and clueless statement. Name one team in the premier that always plays their strongest team.

Happens, nature of the cup. There's not that much difference between the championship and the bottom of the premiership.

Getting knocked out of the fa cup is like losing your lottery ticket.....it would have been fun but we probably wouldn't have won it anyway.
Failing to stay up in the premiership would be like losing a winning lottery ticket......catastrophic.

It's an old argument that gets done to death every season. I am in the 'lets concentrate on the league' camp. Our squad is just too thin to cope IMO. Here's hoping Johnny Parr is ok.

The difference being that when you are in the prem the difference between a couple of league places outweighs the income from the cup. Unless you get to semi final / final

 

the dignified don't even enter in the game
