We need to win...we will be lucky to get 21 points from the remaining fixtures...the game against hull is a crucial barometer of how the rest of the season will play out....as I'm up here we get the local news and there's a bit of a mini implosion at the ground re the name change which may effect how they play or explain some current form....it's ok though I've done the fantasy leagues till the end of the season and we finish 1 place above them around 14/15th lol

That said, Palace are more balanced in my opinion and definitely have the momentum after the Stoke game. I think this game will be the the most crucial match Palace have played for years, just hope we're all glad all over after it

From what I have seen there is nothing about the Hull game on Tuesday so I thought i'd start it off. With a tough run of fixtures ahead, this is surely one of the easiest games (if any prem game can be classed as easy) Palace will play for the rest of the season. If they win then there will be clear breathing space between CPFC and the bottom 3, with West Ham and Cardiff almost certain to lose, but anything less than 3 points will be a massive disappointment in my opinion. What do you guys think, would a point be a fair result?
On a serious note it's not as important as it could have been only because we beat Stoke. A win would put some real distance between us and the bottom 3 and also draw us level with Hull, who are apparently having a great season according to most pundits. They aren't a bad side though, serious talent in the centre of midfield which is IMO where we are weakest, another strong CM to play with Jedi would really help us if we could get one in before Tuesday.
A word of caution, Hull have just paid £12m for two new strikers, so their poor away form might be boosted. I still think there's a good chance of 3 points.

Massive game. Any points we can claw together, and better the results of those around us, is a step forward. They aren't a bad side, but have been fortunate IMO with some of their decisions, particularly at the start of the season. Everyone under Southampton are arguably in this with us, so anything against those teams could be pivotal. Good midfield, but I don't think Long or Jelavic will be miracle workers for them. I haven't made a prediction on any of this seasons results, so I'm not going to. A win Saturday would be nice, if only to keep spirits high and any momentum going.

Will be happy with a draw from this. They beat Liverpool not so long ago.

Eh? We don't play a possession style of football...? Pulis has us playing very direct and solid. Hence Jedinak, Ward, KG etc. And these players have played a massive part in us keeping a large amount of clean sheets. Then if we wanted to play a more expansive game or possession, we could call on Campana, Bannan, Williams etc and we'd be able to do that better too. Centre midfield is one of our strongest areas. Easily.
