He will be our "new signing" for the second half of the season and once the forwards realise the balls he can play to them we might start scoring a few more!
He was excellent at West Brom when he got injured and if yesterday is anything to go by then roll on him being match fit!

Didn't rate him in his first few games but he was immense yesterday, seems to have a lot in his locker. I also thought Ward is coming to grips with playing in midfield and looked really good yesterday. Suddenly we have 4/5 players that look real premiership quality.

A couple of good signings and we'll make it 5th time lucky...

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely
Mile Jedinak

I think Joel Ward will be playing in the centre for a while. He's been our stand out player all season and its best to play him where he can have the most influence on a game. Him and Jedi are building a formidable partnership and barrier there so thets keep it there.

I agree, Pulis definitely likes him playing there and hes getting better every game. I can't see KG getting his place back.

Ward is a really impressive player, and could make it in midfield, but I'm not convinced that Mariappa is the answer at RB, so that means that we would have to buy in a PL standard RB?

Liked him from the off...has a great positive approach to his play and as previously stated will get better with more fitness and gametime and progress into a decent PL midfielder. So proud of all the boys yesterday..TP has injected a real solid backbone to the side but with an attacking finesse as well to prove our displays at Chelsea,Man City and first half at Spurs weten't flukes! A decent goalscoring forward in to help Chamakh and I honestly think we will do it!!!

We love you,we love you,we love you and where you play we follow,we follow,we follow, cos we support the Palace, the Palace, the Palace and thats the way we like it,we like,we like it...WOAH,WOAH,WOAH!!!

Mariappa is a poor RB. Lets wingers get too many crosses over and when the ball is waist high or higher why does he rush towards the ball? If he misses the ball, which he does, a few things can happen. Firstly the winger takes the ball and has a free cross, or he fouls the player, or he handballs it, both potentially in the box. Standing your f*cking ground and stop the cross again.

As long as he keeps KG out, I'll be happy. Had to keep his place

Chamakh was the biggest success of the transfer window, and he's possibly our only truly Premier League quality attacking player.

Guedioura, though, looks like he could be the perfect midfield partner for Jedinak. Plenty of energy, can tackle and can pass, which allows Jedinak to basically clean up in front of the back four. Could certainly become a Prem player, and a midfield duo of him and Jedi does look class

agree, I was raving about him saturday, he's not yet match fit but looked a very assured player.
Long term I'd love to see him alongside jedi in the deeper role, seems to have the ability to really spread the play

How good can this guy be! I think he can be a fantasic player for us once match fit. Very impressed with every aspect of his game today. Wonder why things didn't work out for him at Forest?

He's a class act. Him & Bannan were probably the best signings in the summer.

[Different players and different positions, but] I think that Bannan might miss out in place of Guedi because of what he brings to the team and the way we set up.

Any thoughts or information as to why he wasn't in the squad on Tuesday? Is he injured?
