Thank you. The atmosphere was fantastic.

This sounds silly but I am not sure where I was sitting! The big screen was on the left, Julian was on the right in the first half, the Stoke fans were opposite, and we had walked through the Players' Lounge.

I live a long way away and it was a long day but well worth it

Main stand then.

Yes; I have found it [Link]

Looking at that stadium plan , since when has Sainsbury's been in the end of the main stand ?

Jules would be on the left (first half) if you were in the main stand.

Be very careful. It is addictive. Lucky you live close, in Beckenham.

Not close unfortunately.

You should have been here in 1945 when we won nothing and had very little but the atmosphere kept us alive. Seems as if 10g then made more noise then than 20g do now.

Now we've both been there once Durban and we both loved it. My only visit to Selhurst was final day in 2008-09 when Sheffield Utd visited and they had to win to gain automatic promotion. Finished 0-0 Jules MOM but I managed to get to into the players lounge afterwards. Pictures with Jules and Paddy, met Simon Jordan. Am a 50yo but felt like a gushing teenager, how embarrassing.

Charlton got relegated that day so all was happy in the Pub afterwards.

Must get back there one day.

Ah Durban, you never forget your first time. March 1980 for me - Liverpool at home, 0-0, hammered it down.

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely
