You only have to look at the Stoke fans reaction to him today to realise that this is a manager we are lucky to have . Hopefully we will be giving him the same recognition in years to come.

I shared a train carriage with Stoke fans after the match, all in their 50's and what surprised me was the split in affection for Pulis with a number admitting they were glad to see him go...a sh1t manager etc.

Since PUlis has taken over we have scored 16 points from 11 games, going to get a bit mathematical now:

16/11 = 1.4545 points per game under pulis

1.4545 x 16 (games left) = 23.2727 (points we are set to pick up over the rest of the season if we score points at this current rate)

(predicted points we will gain) + (points already gained) = 23.2727 + 20 = 43.2727

To summarise, if we continue at this rate under Pulis, we will undoubtedly stay up. Last year 43 points wouldve seen us get to 12th.

obviously this isnt exact, but it is looking extremely promising, great work Pulis.

FYI - prejected total points under Millen and HOlloway = 13.8181

Keep it up Pulis.

Averages are interesting, but in reality there are a number of absolute crunch matches, West Ham, Cardiff and Sunderland away. We can't afford to lose these matches.

I don't see points from games against Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Man Utd and maybe Southampton. Simply on the fact that if we fall behind, I can't see us scoring.

Think Tony Pullis should get a massive amount of credit for how we are playing, clean sheets and wins, if we can add to our squad then all good but, we now have a manager that knows what he is doing.

But he needs help in the form of signings. If you were at the game today you would see as clear as everyone else that was that if there ever was a game that showed up our weaknesses it was this afternoon. Chamakh was awful. To be replaced by Wilbraham who actually got stuck in to Stokes defence should have been embarrassing to him. The only good performance was from Guediora who ran out of steam due to match fitness.
Reason we won today? Stoke were worse than us. its as simple as that.
Its great to be out the bottom three and Pulis has proved a miracle worker but he needs help. I pray the owners provide it!

Wow, couldn't have seen that game much differently! And yes, I was there at Selhurst.

Thought Chamakh put in a great shift, a lot of quality touches, but ran and put himself about in a way you never would have expected earlier in the season. I obviously wasn't alone in this opinion as most of the crowd stood to clap him off when subbed.

Thought defence were excellent, and glad for Mariappa who had a strong game at RB. Jedi, Ward and Guedioura strong in midfield, Yala gave them problems, Jules made a great early save and generally dominated his box even with their big players.

Finally, Puncheon laid a few demons with that goal. I'm still not all that keen and was actually ready to lay into him for shooting AGAIN, but credit where it's due.

So yeah, I thought we were bloody good! Just what was required for a tight scrap against bottom 10 rivals.

Surely you can spell his name properly? I mean I know it might sound pedantic but come on. Basic respect.

Says the bloke who spells Parish as Parrish

Has it crossed your mind Stoke may of been s***, because the way Palace were set up to play against them.
I am getting a bit pissed off with people on here, who do nothing but moan about players and management.
It seems to me they are doing a good job, Pulis obviously has great experience and knows what he is doing.
Its a miracle we are in the Premier, why not just enjoy it.
Chamakh ran himself into the ground against a tough defence, dont try and make out Wilbraham is better, he hasnt scored a league goal anywhere in 2 years and doesnt look likely too.

Tony Pulis is the best thing to happen to us in a long time.

Huge credit to the owners.
