I remember all this stuff, as I to am an old git, I started going when budgie Byrne first played for us! I remember walking up to the Whitehorse end turnstiles on the gravel path, then standing in the mud, which is now stainsburys.

I remember one of the few Jim Scott goals after running the right wing and lobbing/shooting into the goal at the White Horse end. Can't remember which team was on the receiving end of it though.

Then of course the five-goals-in-eleven-minutes against Swindon. Can't remember which year that was in, probably 77/78.

I remember seeing us beating Div I Notts Forest 3-1 in the cup in the mid 60s. What struck me as a kid was how good the Forest players' kit looked compared to ours. Mind you, one or two of them didn't look so great after Bert 'Chopper' Howe had finished with them.
