Thanks for the votes boys and girls, I do try NOT to annoy, offend or WUM, I just try to bring the odd bit of reasoned debate.

I've not had the chance to see any Palace games yet this season, and I know that you're currently pointless, but, putting that fact to one side for a minute, how's it going generally so far, what's your gut feeling, have you just been a bit unlucky or do you think Olly needs to bring in more troops?

Good luck anyway guys, I'm hoping that all three promoted teams can defy the odds, and the lazy pundits, and all stay up this season.

A bit of both really

Certainly agree with that!

I know you're probably not interested in Hull City/Hull City Tigers/Hull Tigers or whatever our latest name is but what I'd say, in our case, is that Huddlestone, Livermore and Curtis Davies have made a huge difference to our set up, and it looks like Steve Bruce has got it spot on, certainly without those three on Saturday we would have struggled to get a point, let alone three.

Have your new signings settled in, do they look up to PL standard, or is it a case that they need more time to gel? Unfortunately, as we all know, we have eight games less in which to plunder our points this season, which makes the latter option a particularly difficult one.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a cartwheeling poodle that's overjoyed after our one win but there was enough evidence on Saturday to suggest that we have every chance of avoiding the drop, IF, and it's a big IF, Huddlestone, Livermore and Davies steer clear of injuries/suspensions.

Anyway, good luck guys, and you can be assured that I'll be shouting for Palace against Slumberland on Saturday from my armchair

You may stay up if you get referees like you did on Saturday giving you penalties

Davies and Livermore were players that I hoped and feel we should of gone all out to get in. Huddlestone was a bit of a coup for you, I would of expected him to go to an established mid table team rather than a newly promoted one.
