This is good news indeed and I hope the b****** is dealt with appropriately under Iraqi law. But anyone else feel nauseous to hear the Yank yesterday: "Ladies and Gentlemen - we got him" followed by the normal whoops and 'you the man' style crap. That sort of triumphalist s*** is really not what's wanted. I can't stand Blair normally but I think his more thoughtful response was much more apt. And Despotic is quite right to bring up the subject of those held at Guantanamo Bay. If they're guilty of a crime, then deal with them, but two years down the line something needs to happen. Or are they going to rot in prison unconvicted of a crime?

I can't wait for the trial. Saddam will blow the lid on how the Engish and Americans FINANCED his war in Iran! Oh, and if he did have any chemical or weapons of mass destruction guess where he go them from? Spot on. Us and the septics! Either Bush'll get him shot and he'll win the next election, or Saddam will testify, and the Bushes should ALL be shot! Stick them in Guantanimao Bay!
