Did you come up?
Yep.

Rate the ground /10?
5/10 - It was incredibly blurry. You want to get that looked at.

Atmosphere from both teams /10?
7/10 - Home fans louder than a lot, we weren't at our best. Everyone was blurry.

Your watering hole of choice?
The back of a blurry minibus.

Will we stay up?
Certainly

Will you go up?
Possibly

I thought you had more than that, must be getting my wires crossed.

I personally think Bolasie is better than Zaha from what I've seen anyway.

I don't think your ground is too bad, just needs a lick of paint and a bit of a tidy up round the outside. It would look better if all the stands were 2 tiers like the Holmesdale but that can wait. Bit like Hillsborough really, we need to get rind of the posts and fill the corners in, paint it and chuck a big telly in the corner and Rob's your father's brother.

You are certainly right that it needs a tidy up around the outside.I was walking past the alleyway at the back of the club shop, Bristol game.Well I know it don`t make any difference to what happens on the pitch. But that alleyway is one shyte hole,Palace should be ashamed.

Croydon council are supposed to clean that up! the whole area around Selhurst park is a disgrace and upsets me everytime I walk along the Holmesdale road!!
As you approach stadium there is rubbish everywhere!
Seems that councils have stopped clearing litter! clearly a social problem where people just dont give a shlt about the area's they live!
Saying that inside the turnstile areas there is rubbish everywhere! my brother works on them and says some of it has been there for ages! he gets tired of cleaning up!!
I do wonder why the Club cant organise ground or general staff to tidy up the immediate area around Selhurst park before game, makes it a more attractive place to come for outsiders,I used to love our area but it's simply a dump!!

Hi Owl,

I couldn't give a hoot that we lost to you..........LOL

I like the Arctic Monkeys and I think they are Wednesday fans?

I would like you to stay up and Bristol City to go down if possible.

As far as we're concerned we will make the playoffs at best, but not sure we can get promoted this season as we tend to outplay teams and don't force home our advantage.

All the best mate....

Currently a student in Sheffield and absolutely love the city. Also pretty much everyone I know prefers Wednesday to the Blades. Live in Crookes so we had a few in the Old Grindstone which is about 20 seconds' walk away from my house and then got the 52 bus to the game. Was a pretty minging game in all honesty, I texted my Dad at HT saying this has 1-0 written all over it. The pitch wasn't good and that wasn't conducive to decent football and we missed Zaha badly. With him and Bolasie playing yesterday we would have won IMO.

Love Hillsbrough as a ground, it's a proper ground. Atmosphere was pretty average but then the last time I was there the atmosphere was sizzling! I think we'll make play offs but from then on in it's a bit of a lottery really. We have done OK against the teams around us this season so we'll see.

No way will Wednesday go down. There are much worse teams in this league. Huddersfield will go I think, as well as Peterbrough and one other, not sure who yet.

Hillsborough is probably one of my top grounds in the country. I love the traditional looking stadiums and I don't think they get better than Hillsborough.

In short you will stay up, we will hit the play offs and see if we get the ticket for promotion.

I like the stadium - a good, traditional football ground.

I thought the Wednesday fans very quiet - until Lita scored. Up until then I thought the away support provided the atmosphere.

It was a scrappy game. Wednesday looked pretty solid at the back, and coped well with everything they had to. We didn't really look like scoring.

I thought 0-0 would have been a fair result, but at half time I did predict we would lose to a headed goal and for once I was right !

Had a few pre match beers in the Horse & Jockey - decent pub and a nice downhill walk to the stadium.

I think - and hope - that Wednesday will stay up.

I reckon Palace are good for the play-offs, but need to sort out the away form.

Did you come up?
Yes

Rate the ground /10?
6/10 - good old fashioned stadium

Atmosphere from both teams /10?
8/10 - thought our fans were great as usual, cant comment on your fans too much as i wouldnt have heard them from our drum (which some stewards tried to take away!!)

Your watering hole of choice?
Didnt really go to the pub on this occasion, wasnt quite at 100%

Will we stay up?
Definately will, you guys are much better than some of the nonsense in our league, wolves, brizzle city, and huddersfield or barnsley (Peterborough to make a last day escape)

Will you go up?
I think we will, and i think it is destined to be a crystal palace vs brighton final and zaha to leave the club by scoring the winner

When Wednesday were sh1te - apart from Terry Curran - in the early 80's Division 3 I used to love watching them at Plough Lane when Palace were away because they would bring 4,000 fans to SW19 and the same for nearly all their away games. Terrific support.

PLus Mark Bright played for them.

No bad feeling at all for the owls apart from those prats at the relegation decider. They needed a good whippeting.

I'm a Wdensday fan, I'm not here to be a keyboard warrior or anything like that.

I'm just wondering why there's a section of your fans that seem to think we don't like you, admittedly there are a few fans that I know of that seem to dislike you for obvious reasons, but personally I don't have a problem with Palace in the slightest. I actually have quite a large soft spot for you. A girl I know is going out with one of the HF lads and I've met him a couple of times and talk to him quite regularly and he really is a top lad.

I came down to Selhurst earlier on this season (It's a right tw@ to get to!) and thoroughly enjoyed the day, was a bit gutted about the result but you did deserve to win.

I was at the match on Saturday as well and I thought it was a very even game and there was never going to be more than one goal in it.

I was drinking in The Railway pub with a few Palace fans before the match and your lot were all very friendly and had a good bit of banter as well.

Finally, I wish you the best of luck in your quest for promotion. It would be nice to see you go up but I hope you don't go up because I want another away day at Selhurst :-D

Yes .
7/10 old school ground but seemed half empty.(is it too big for you now)?
Palace 6/10 .A lot of our support sat in silence on their arses. Why come all that way and not support the team vocally? the usual sang all match.(at the back)
Weds 4/10 only heard you when Lita scored.
Some boozer on the outskirts was very nice though .
Yes you should ive seen worse this year DJ seems to have you organised..
Doubtful but still believing.
Ps Chris Kirkland is a complete prick.
