I may be a bit envious of big clubs like Man City etc and the success that their finances have brought. I am certainly not envious of you. I think that you deserve some luck - given the way that you were treated over the Goldstone Ground and I would not have liked to see you go out of business. My real problem is that tossers like you only crow when you're doing OK (which is, to be honest, in the same division that we have been in and out of for years. And - since you've been there you've only secured a point against us in the first 2 games and hardly pulled up any trees). You speak about attendances and crow about that but lets understand where we are. We have a lower attendance at the moment but have, over the last 20 years or so - yo-yo'd between the Championship and the Premiership (although a chunk more in the CCC to be fair). When we hit the premier league we sell out. You have been in the "lower" leagues for a long time and it may be that your plastics view this current league as you punching well above your weight and, therefore, the pinnacle of your clubs position after many years in their rightful place in the third tier - whereas ours, given history, see the premier league as that. As a consequence people like to come out to see you play the bigger clubs in the CCC.

I'm not jealous. I may be a bit envious of big clubs like Man City etc and the success that their finances have brought. I am certainly not envious of you. Sorry my fellow Palace fans but the updated AMEX is the absolute nuts and come next season when its 30k they will be raking it in from attendances and the corporate bit they've got down there. Sooner rather than later CPFC 2010 will have to make a call on ditching the Crystal Palace plan and improving Selhurst... too many clubs in the championship have stadiums that are massive money spinners (bars, shops, boxes, restaurants etc etc).

Sorry my fellow Palace fans but the updated AMEX is the absolute nuts and come next season when its 30k they will be raking it in from attendances and the corporate bit they've got down there.

Sooner rather than later CPFC 2010 will have to make a call on ditching the Crystal Palace plan and improving Selhurst... too many clubs in the championship have stadiums that are massive money spinners (bars, shops, boxes, restaurants etc etc).

If they don't go up within the next 7 years or even worse I would put any money the crowds will decrease to around the 10-15,000 mark
