Oh this again, the site Policeman who tells us he isn't the site Policeman but spends his time waffling on about site rules. Cheers, but I've only been here since 2009, I think I might perhaps have a sense of it by now. Zzzzz. I am not a site Policeman. I just respect the rules as best I can. I occasionally point them out when some bs is posted. As has been recently. Having a "sense" of anything is a complete waste of time if that sense is deliberately ignored by anyone who thinks they don't apply to him. Actions always speak louder than words.

I try to not engage but that would be hypocritical based on my message signature. At least we are keeping his mind active in his dotage but that seems to be unappreciated. Please don't concern yourself. I have plenty to keep my mind active. The Hol is where I relax a little! I am now off to play bowls in a tournament I am organising. By the way. I wouldn't miss you at all. Nothing you ever post informs on any subject.

When Trump was in power he had sanctions on Russia's pipeline and gave arms to Ukraine, which was a reverse of the Obama/Biden position. However, he had a working and cordial relationship with Putin. When Biden came in, he stopped those sanctions but simultaneously kept up a damaging and stupid series of paper tiger insults at Putin ruining any possible influence. In terms of deterring Putin it made zero difference as Putin can smell the weakness behind the rhetoric and knows that the economic sanctions will also hit us....and all over a border dispute that few westerners care about. In power Trump criticised Germany's 70 percent reliance upon Russia's gas as bad policy. For this he was criticised by Biden and the Democrats. In power Trump expanded the US's energy production, whereas the day Biden came in he cancelled the US pipeline and much production and jobs reversing Trump's march towards energy independence....embarrassingly Biden then had to beg the Saudis to increase production. When Trump was in power he criticised Nato and Europe on their lack of defence spending and over reliance on America. Biden and the Democrats criticised this when it's the actual truth. And I'm not even going to touch Afghanistan as that still makes my blood boil. Trump was right on all those areas. Trump came with issues but he makes the Democrats look like the set of absurd incompetents that they are.

I wouldn't miss you at all. Nothing you ever post informs on any subject. As you certainly write a lot....So you might as well play with them as well. So diverse, so embracing change. Still, sounds like a relaxing time, then it's back to your bowl movements on here. Edited by Stirlingsays (21 Feb 2022 1.04pm)

Edited by Stirlingsays (21 Feb 2022 1.04pm) The world of bowls is pretty traditional and set in its ways, but I am pushing hard for it to enter the modern world. With some success. My club is the first in Cornwall to go fully online with it's booking system, which is a revolutionary step here. It might be old-fashioned, and resistant to change, but it's positively buzzing compared to some of the attitudes I encounter here.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |
