Kinda what I was getting but I meant much more than those examples as London then would have still been very English overall. Now? I've been to the carnival a few times and have never seen any stabbings,maybe it's because i'm busy dancing and not looking fir trouble.

I'd like to think it's the speed of change forced upon the electorate rather than a conflict regarding 'races/cultures' that has caused many to feel 'overwhelmed'. 'England my England' is now defunct.
Too much change in too short a time has scared many hence the rise of UKIP and I don't blame them if I'm honest.
I'd like to think it's the speed of change forced upon the electorate rather than a conflict regarding 'races/cultures' that has caused many to feel 'overwhelmed'.
In historical terms this would be classed as 'an invasion'. But we're not allowed to say that.
