None of the goals last night were his fault just as most of the goals conceded this season have not been his fault. Unfortunately we have an awful defence who keep making really bad individual errors. So the campaign on here against Hennessey has now extended to a few of the more vociferous members of the away support - with what aim? You have Speroni back in the first team (for now) - what does this continual abuse of one of our players achieve apart from trying to destroy any remaining confidence he might have? Who are you going to blame when we lose games now Speroni is in goal? He hasn't had a clean sheet in the PL since 7th February 2015 so what makes you think he's the answer? Shameful.

Edited by Brentmiester_General (25 Oct 2017 12.03am) You keep making outrageous statements like that - you are the one who is causing damage to the club by your neverending campaign of abuse at one of our players. I ask again - who are you going to blame for any goals we concede on Saturday, or next week?

Maybe it’s you causing damage by continually arguing with your fellow Palace fans to stick up with a player who will be off soon. You should try to cut this out as us lifelong fans will be around much after WH has left the club and are much more important to th club than a player who is around for a couple of years. You ever thought about that?

Pathetic! yes your right you cant lay blame just in hennessey corner we would get a clearer pic if we had scored 10 goals not two, means rest of the team play different, but he is shot to pieces any keeper would be, he needs to get back to when Sam first come in you could see what was being worked on, but as i have said before he has gone backwards which means he needs to come out of the firing line

Isn't that a bit like saying we haven't beaten Mansfield for 40 years...he only played two games last season and two this season...i went last night and it says something when 2000 fans behind the goal actually cheer when he caught a ball. Im not saying Speroni will save us but we need a new goalkeeper and should have done this before the season started along with two better strikers than what he have in that lump called Benteke

The club's transfer dealings in the summer were again awful - just as in previous years (can you believe how much we paid for PVA and Schlupp?). I think it's 18 PL games without a clean sheet for Speroni now as he didn't have one from 7th Feb until the end of that season.

You ever thought about that? What makes you say that - apart from an article in The Sun? And I really don't think your vindictive behaviour on here qualifies you as a 'lifelong fan'. Why shouldn't I stick up for a Palace player - isn't that what being a 'fan' is all about?

His supporters have been trying to create an illusion that it’s just me and a few others on here that don’t rate him. It’s quite clearly not is it.
