As I was referring mainly to my friend's son attempting to get onto a medicine course. Please read the first paragraph and a half of attached link. I think you will see the fees are over double. I have no direct knowledge of all courses at all universities but I do of nursing ones locally and there the fees are maybe 25% higher for international students and that seems to be the case for the other courses they offer too. If you read the piece you referenced then you will see that it doesn't actually say what you seem to think it does. It says that the fees can vary a lot depending on what course is involved and where it is offered. It goes on to make the perfectly valid case that on top of the tuition fees that maintenance costs need to be added, but that's true of home students too.

getting back to the core topic. is anybody dumb enough to believe the Asian Grooming gangs have gone away ? Totally gone. They are now eating fish and chips and bringing their missus' round the shopping centre. Get something nice for yourself there, love. All that integration has definitely happened.

Is anyone dumb enough to believe the Police aren't investigating and bringing/preparing cases? The original cases weren't dealt with until it became impossible to quieten people down. Hardly impossible that exactly the same is happening.

I have read it thank you, as I said I was referring to medical courses "going up to £38000 or more for medical courses" seems pretty clear to me.

The original cases weren't dealt with until it became impossible to quieten people down. Hardly impossible that exactly the same is happening. That's untrue. The police and local authorities were conducting their investigations but away from the glare of publicity. That questions have rightly been asked about certain individuals not giving the matter the level of priority that others believe was due is also true but that's not to say that happened/is happening elsewhere. There will always be differences of opinion and lessons to be learned. We won't really know until all the cases are completed and we can have the full public enquiry that almost certainly will happen. Until then we don't need self appointed vigilantes muddying the water for those whose job it is to find and prosecute the criminals. If anyone has information that will assist the police with their enquiries then bring it to them, quietly and for no other reason than trying to help. Risking the loss of a prosecution case because of your desire to stand in the spotlight is not helping.

getting back to the core topic. is anybody dumb enough to believe the Asian Grooming gangs have gone away ? Sorry but isn't the 'core topic' Tommy Robinson? A new messiah about to bring down the bbc, a man imprisoned for telling the truth and an all round friend to the under represented and needy? Or maybe we all accept now he is a narcissistic self publicising oick who jumps on band wagons and seems scared to use his own name. Edited by orpingtoneagle (15 Sep 2019 6.18pm)
