It will be interesting to see how Alan Pardew reacts when he finds, he is not being backed up properly by his management. i do not think he will do a Pulils, but i think he may realise, that even after getting close in the FA Cup, and problems with strikers last year. his boss has not come in for him, especially if the deal of a life time with Benteke is taken out of our grasp Parrish, i know you are looking after the coppers, but we have Amercian Investment now.

The biggest mistake was selling Gayle without a replacement. That was stupid. But, the utter rubbish people are spouting now is cringeworthy. Do the club want strikers? Yes. Have they put bids in for strikers? Yes. Did one reject us and go to Chelsea? Yes. Are all other clubs struggling to get strikers through the door? Yes. Will we get a striker or two before the window shuts? Yes. The key is patience. It's a sellers market at the minute. Not sure we'll get a Benteke but we will, I'm sure get someone who'll be better than what we have now.

Benteke won't go until the last day of the window, when Liverpool realise nobody will pay there valuation of the player and they will need to take what they can get and hopefully our offer will be accepted by club and player. Looks like Bacca is on his way to west ham so they'll drop their interest in rival targets, with them out of the way it makes us landing either of Benteke or Berahinho a lot more likely.

We must get points on the board in our first six games. I hope we don't leave it until deadline day to bring in a striker or we could well end up having to play catch up.
