Todays first download is a set by Dire Straits that was recorded on the bands first USA tour in 1979. This show was recorded at the Tower Theatre in Upper Darby, PA and is in superb quality. The band play music from their first album which had been released a couple of months beforehand. This is a cracking bootleg and is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set of unreleased sessions by the legendary Jimi Hendrix. These were recorded at The Hit Factory and The Record Plant Studios, New York between 1969 & 1970 - with the exception of track 2 which was recorded at T.T.G Sunset Highland Studios, Hollywood in 1968. This is a top notch bootleg and for it's age it sounds great. If you like JH then you will want to add this to your collection..... Todays extra download is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted. They are called Wet Willie and this is a show that was recorded at the Bottom Line club in New York City in December 1977. They play southern rock and were formed in 1969 - and are still going today. They've had a few line up changes over the years, including at one time having Elkie Brooks as a backing singer. Their most famous song is called "Keep On Smilin'" - which is played on this bootleg. This is in superb quality and is a wicked sounding bootleg. If you don't know this band - give them a try....
