These are side issues, which are entirely personal and not germane to the thread. Why though anyone should think that people in sales and marketing cannot hold decent morals is puzzling. I can assure you it's untrue. Sales and marketing is not confidence trickery. Outright lies, other than as a tactic to save life or limb, and told to an enemy, cannot be defended. In those circumstances they are part of a bigger truth. That good must triumph over evil.

A salesman is the most valuable person in the organisation, especially commission only.

He can only exist by selling the consumer what they actually want, not necessarily what the company wants to sell or produce most.

Go with the salesman, what does his sales record tell you about what the customers are interested in, if you don't your competitors will.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

I recognise that the gap is wide. Not only with those who believe in things like an "anti-white" agenda. It's extra wide with them, but it also exists with mainstream opinion too, where references to white and black people are usual. So I realise I am well ahead of the curve, but believe that where I am now is where most people will be before too long. I believe describing people by the colour of their skin will become as unacceptable in the future as describing them as n*ggers" or "co*ns" is today.

Why does this matter? So long as we continue to view, judge and divide people by arbitrary things, and not by their behaviour, character or personality, the scourge of racism will grow. We simply cannot afford to do that. The human race faces a very challenging future, which it can only succeed in if it is united in protecting the world we share. Climate change will produce migration on a scale never seen before. Those people must be viewed as new citizens whose need is great, and whose rights are as important as our own. We mustn't see each other as different and divided by prejudice. "Whiteness" and "Blackness" are outdated, irrational and destructive constructs which are barriers to the very survival of our race. So the regressive attitudes promoted by those who believe in "whiteness, or "blackness" need to be consigned to history asap. For the benefit of their children just as much as for the rest of humanity,

Generally if someone was commenting on another's posts on a subject they would say so. They would use "about" Gab, or Torba, and not "on Gab". So that was, at best, careless and unfortunate.

My views on Torba and his approach with Gab is simple. I believe that the law applies to everyone. If hate speech is unlawful it's the duty of every platform to remove it and ban those who persist in using it. Torba, and many of the users of Gap, don't agree and believe that freedom of speech is an absolute right. Something I profoundly disagree with, as that cannot exist in any democracy.

The result is a platform that is a hotbed of racism and other views that are unacceptable to mainstream society. Individually that's unimportant. People can believe whatever they like. It's the ability to spread hatred and organise violence that is the problem. The irony is that Torba claims to be a Christian, the religion of gentleness and tolerance. Additionally, he is making a fortune out of this, in the same way other leading "dissidents" are, from the likes of Alex Jones through to Nick Fuentes and our "own" Stephen Yaxley-Lennon.

Many people seem incapable of distinguishing between true sales and marketing professionals and the confidence tricksters who prey on the vulnerable.
