I left south London 20 years ago, but my heart sinks when I read about all the crime and the fact that almost all these kids being stabbed are black and stabbed by their brethren. I agree that race is a very touchy area, but we don’t live in China. and as for the knee, I’m a white man in my 50’s. If I was a white man in my 20’s in a mixed team I would probably show support for my black colleagues and if they wanted to do it, I would do it.
As to Quatar, that is one deal covered in s***. No team should be forced to participate in an endorsement of what is a racist, facist, horrendous regime. FIFA is as bad as the Olympic lot. Rotten to the core. All the players want to do is have a World Cup. What do you do?
