This was racism, it" not just about colour, i was thinking pity we didn"t have these chaps shouting the abuse back in the day, i didn"t recognise any of them and could have done with them a few times over the years , probably a lot quieter leaving highbury or the den. Yup but oh the irony with recent events.

Thinking you know everything is not very intelligent. I do not want to go on any marches thankyou. I have no desire to feel I have to prove I'm not racist. By living as I do and treating everyone with respect I put my words into action.

I don’t need to do any research ! As I’ve already done that all my life and will go on doing it as I have said look at the crowd on our marches and you will see it multicultural! As a black person your cause for ending racism is just and one I agree with. Don’t be brainwashed into thinking however that the BLM movement is just about removing racism. If you read enough of this thread you will see examples of how BLM is a political group sponsored by radical left wing sponsors who are trying to drive a wedge between the black and white population. BLM is polarising views and making people take sides which is the opposite of what Martin LK saw as the way forward. There are no out and out racists on this site, there are a lot of pragmatists who see through the politics that are running alongside the BLM movement. If you want middle England to come to your side and not just the virtue signallers then stop trying to tear down British history which will just turn people against you and concentrate on the now and the future. I have no problems or issues with anyone from BAME communities and very much hope that my relationships with people from those communities remain that way. I will not however take a knee and I most certainly will not go to a BLM rally. Also if you want those to take you seriously on here, proof read your posts before putting them out there. I’m afraid telling someone they lack intelligent is not correct use of the English Language, but is rather ironic given the point you were trying to make.

I'm ok ! You understood what I wrote so that doesn't bother me at all The people marching is a small percentage of the population. You can bet people haven’t been happy about BLM, Antifa or young black people vandalising war hero memorials, attacking the police, and claiming white people are privileged. Then there are the statements from BLM, which is a marxist movement that, if allowed to, would repossess everything and disband the police, while bizarrely asking the police for protection. And disbanding or defunding the police will mostly damage poorer areas, which in London means black areas. I’m afraid your worthy black lives matter sentiment is being run by an anarchist BLM organisation that wants to destroy everything. Sorry but we aren’t suicidal in Britain so it won’t work. This is why it’s not going to work and damage relations. Your best bet is for the meaningful things debated and changed by officials. Do you honestly think any of the recent events are going to influence anything meaningful? By meaningful I mean in the pocket, like getting the promotion or the job at interview. If the protests were like the most recent London one then I wouldn’t be typing this out and we wouldn’t have seen everything go over the top because of a USA police officer using force which isn’t used in this country. Unfortunately there’s no Martin Luther King type leader, even though Britain is very different to America, so instead you get loads of youngsters get involved and see it as an opportunity to run riot. It’s put loads of people off or had them shaking their heads, white and black grown ups.
