Worth reading the comments.

There's been a spate of truth bending and near lies from those mp's taking part in the coup, this is just another example.

In other news, unelectable Labour didn't do too badly in by elections this week.

The language of Corbyn support is god awful. Do you mean leadership contest?

That page shows the same number of by-election wins for the Conservatives as Labour, which is a poor result against the incumbent party.

Optimistic as ever

If they're unelectable, how come they were elected?

Nick

I might be wrong but I think the message the person was trying to get across is that Labour in their current position are unelectable in terms of a 'General Election'.

Even you don't really believe that.

I didn't say that. I pointed out that they won the same number of by-elections as the party in government. Which is poor.

Even the Lib dems won 3 of them!

If you think he can even keep the party together, never mind win a majority of seats in 2020, as leader - you're bonkers.

Nick makes a good point as always. The link is interesting but did you notice seem to have lost a seat in Sherwood which they held previously because they did not put up a candidate. Very strange.

Amazing that 180.000 people paid £25 to vote as supporters in the leadership election (that is over £5 million for party coffers). This means that Labour now has more registered supporters than the whole Tory membership.

One thing you can say about JC, he certainly gets people involved in politics.

Yes they have got involved in unsavoury ways - just ask Angela Eagle.

Look, even Tony Blair has come out and pleaded with Labour voters not to vote in Corbyn.

As I said vote him lefties, and you have single handedly given power to the Tories for the next......... however many years you keep him at the helm for.

Delusional, socialist fantasist who would bring the country to its knee's from a position of steady recovery, within months of his term in office (God forbid).

And if you thought the Tory’s handed Labour their collective arses to them in the last election, wait and see what happens if gets elected.

Please god let him win.

Exactly. Im a life long Tory voter, but I don't think its healthy at all not to have a robust opposition, and under Corbyn Labour will be a shambles.

We do need a robust opposition, one with different ideas.

Look chief. The people who joined the Labour Party to vote for Corbyn are in no way representative of the increasingly right leaning people of Britain.

Either you want to have a chance of not being totally wiped out in the next election or you want to hold on to your potty, minority, far left principles for the bants.

Labour only have students, the ethnics and a few old die hard socialist fat blokes from up north voting for them now anyway, so you are only making it worse for yourselves.
