A country where it’s illegal to import alcohol, p***.graphy, pork products or even opposing religious books, for fear of a prison sentence. Are our knee taking, virtue w**king players going to boycott playing in a country like this? Or have they just got a problem with … arguably, the most tolerant, welcoming place in the world … Great Britain. If not, then get up off your f***ing knees, and do what the fans, who pay hundreds of pounds of hard earned money, to support their national team expect of you ... and just play f***ing football. If I wanted a political message from someone who chases a ball, I’d rather ask my f***ing dog. C’mon Dan, tell me, are the English players going to boycott the World Cup? Of course they won't boycott Qatar, any more than they boycotted Russia. They will justify it along the lines of "sport and politics should be kept separate", completely missing the irony

I’ve made my point. This is my stance: I am against taking the knee. I am however in support of us boycotting the World Cup. This is something that it if you have a want to make a political gesture then you should support this stance. If we do not boycott the World Cup then the FA, the players and the media are just massively hypocritical.

So therefore they have covered themselves for supporting Qatar.

I wouldn't say I support it, but it's hard to argue that racism doesn't exist both in the UK and football. They're obviously not supporting the BLM political group, rather making a point about racism. I do feel it's worn a tad thin though and think I@m on Zaha's side. I'm certainly against people booing it though. Like it or not, players in today's game have huge influence so if they can do something positive then that's a good thing. Look at Rashford as an example of that. Qatar is dreadful. FIFA should have made a stand and not given it to them. I'd be fully supportive of a boycott of the World Cup.

I don’t agree with the knee gesture it’s virtue signalling at its most pathetic but I wouldn’t boo any team I support England or palace

So when there were BLM banners around the grounds and BLM badges on the players’ shirts, these were referring to an entirely different BLM? It’s no wonder people are confused.

Nobody is booing the players, they are booing the gesture. There is no animosity against the players or the team and we all wish them well in the tournament.

We’re in a fascist state. The police knelt for BLM and obey their orders regarding BLM. Very strange. Only the right group of rights protesters allowed now. [Tweet Link]

I hope as many people see this as possible and understand exactly the difference between all the buzzwords and what the practical reality of what those words mean. This could be China, it could be Russia. This is not a free society.
