Less than a hundred people under 64 have died from this virus, on March 27th it was in the 60s

Of those that died many would have been in the vulnerable category.....I should imagine the media have highlighted most who weren't.

843 dead in last 24 hrs. Is it a coincidence or could the snowdonia etc weekend 2 weeks ago have caused it. Not sure how long it takes to get it then die typically. On the radio talking about boris the quack said each day on a ventilator needs 1 week to recuperate at least.

True but 30% of cases on ventilators are under 45.
They would probably die without it. It's only the time given to the healthier on ventilators which saves them.

Sweden 76 deaths in 24 hours.
Would pro rata be about 400 over here. The natives over there are getting restless and asking why they didnt lockdown. If that hits 150 a day ish then truly means their method isnt working.

It's true that without modern medicine the death toll would be higher.

I read the other day that the chances of a 55 year old dying are 1.3 out of 100.

There were no Coronavirus cases on Kefalonia a couple of weeks ago until an infected Swede arrived and started passing it around

I'd say they have done better than us, but I suppose it depends upon how much they value their economy.....though personally I think the numbers will start to go down soonish....herd immunity will take affect at some point.

Ventilators are introduced pretty late on, if they are required. Who knows.

The reason in the “spike” is delayed reporting of the deaths from the weekend.
