Protesting at downing street. These comments struck a cord with me. Disappointment and bitterness in the cold night air but peaceful protest is part of our democracy.

Protesting against what? Democracy?

Because as any clever person knows, and that is primarily Graduates and most certainly not thickos like us then REAL democracy means having a chance to change our minds until we vote the way they like.

Well I view social liberalism as inherently destructive to social order and some neo liberalism as too nihilistically individualistic for social good either. So I'm twenty years too far gone for any moderate Labour politician. Still if I put a Labour hat on, I can see a battle emerging within the party between Corbyn's momentum backed wing and the remaining moderates. I think it might come down to Starmer v McDonnell......Though you're bound to get some of the useless bints like Thornberry put herself forward.....She's about as likeable as terminal syphilis. Still, she fits the momentum doctrine quite nicely. Watching what happens in Labour will be genuinely interesting. Edited by Stirlingsays (13 Dec 2019 6.17pm) Every time I see a pro Corbyn labour person and a moderate or Blairite on tv it gets spicy. That Faiza Shaheen left wing activist, labour studies centre whatever and candidate for Chingford and Wood Green) (the one who can’t pronounce t’s in party) was on Newsnight earlier and you could tell she wasn’t feeling too balanced with Jack Straw there. He mentioned Alan Johnson and she must’ve sighed and lost composure. When Jack said ‘’Faizal’’ she took offence that that’s a boy’s name. This is going to rumble on and they’re slow with deciding leaders compared to the clinical Tories. She blamed the media. When Jack talked about hamas, hezbolah and the IRA she tried not to talk about it after blaming lies etc and then told by Jack and Emily Maitliss that they are true facts. Just like brexit they’re having trouble with people having the audacity or stupidity to have a different opinion to them. That is the real world darling.

That is what Faiza Shaheen was implying on Newsnight with Emily Maitliss trying to get her to confirm that is what she was implying, because she definitely was. She had a seasoned professional senior ex cabinet minister in jack straw there and it was like watching a teenager being allowed to stay up too late. It’s usual that students when learning delude themselves they’re wiser than those with life experience or going to work, some with FE qualifications, all because the student is currently learning and the public aren’t. I put this Faiza in that bracket. Spending time in the centre for Labour studies she sees the intelligent angles and everyone else is stupid.

Just like brexit they’re having trouble with people having the audacity or stupidity to have a different opinion to them. That is the real world darling. Faiza Shaheen stood for Labour in Chingford and lost against Ian Duncan Smith who was subjected to lies and abuse during the campaign. Undoubtedly she is one of the worst whining apologists for Corbyn and an all-round nasty piece of wombat waste. What a delight and a pleasure that she was defeated and hopefully will never get anywhere near Parliament for a while. In BBC2 “Newsnight” (Fri, Dec 13) she continually interrupted Jack Straw and the presenter Emma Barnett, and like so many of her kind is now blaming the right-wing press for her beloved leader’s demise. What utter nonsense. When Mr Straw, the Blairite traitor for her sort, mispronounced her name she got really huffy. He apologised or would no doubt have been branded as a racist. I would have replied, well this is the UK where English is the lingua franca and I don’t speak Arabic, Urdu, Kurdish, Iranian, or whatever your ethnic area is and why should I? Nauseating creature…hopefully not to pollute the political landscape for now. But I do wish she could grasp that words like “better” have a hard consonant in the middle not a glottal stop.

Elected Labour MP Lloyd Russell-Moyle refers to fighting Conservatives in parliament, the workplaces and rather interestingly in the streets. Errrrr...I think he got a bit carried away....anyway with the size of him I think he'll need a proxy. Still spicy.....and he forgot to mention the beaches as well.....If you're going to be fighting, don't forget the beaches. We have a fine tradition of fighting on the beaches. [Tweet Link]
