After seeing todays game no doubt in my mind - our Conor is a better player than Benteke -

Agreed that Connor had an excellent game today, but against a defence that didnt really press him. And he was injured a lot last year, and if he gets injured again, no proven PL strikers in the locker. We do need a couple of quality strikers in, whether that's Benteke or Slimani, plus a Berahino type of player ....

Bentke could be good, very good infact. BUT he simply is not worth 30 million quid. Add to the mix that we are seemly having to twist his arm to join us and cave in to his wage demands (altering our wage structures to accommodate him) and I have to say i think we should swerve this one -I hope he goes to China!.

I think Benteke would be a fabulous signing, it would be the final piece of the puzzle! With the attacking players supplying him, but like so many others, I agree that he doesn't seem to fancy little Palace.
