Amidst all this talk and speculation about forwards and defenders I see no mention of what we need most of all - a creative midfielder. Given that our midfield is a defensive one and has no player capable of control and constructive passing how are any of our existing or new forward signings going to get the goals we desperately nee to survive? The 'centre forward' spot has been a graveyard for all who were played there simply because of a lack of service.

Yes the central midfield is defensive but the wings aren't and that's the mode of initial attack for a counter attacking set up like ours. That said we would love to have a Loftus-Cheek type but there you go.....Maybe we'll get that type on loan if we aren't maxed out on them.

Villa have now signed Traoare. They don’t seem to f*** about. If we want them sign them. If we sign at end of window how many games before they are ready?

Still no benrahma in the brentford squad it cant keep going on him not being in the team his missed 3 games now when/if he comes the next excuse will be he isn't match fit which is palace fault cause it should be over the line by now

Sorloth, Sakho and Wickham. Although it's difficult to see anyone paying much if anything at all for Wickham. Sorloth money was already accounted for in Dazzas post. I would be surprised if we got £20m for Sakho and Wickham, I can see Townsend going ( lost his pace ) if Benerahma bought.
