Leaving aside Widdecombe's rant the main point that the media has missed is that the top jobs have been sorted out between the German and French governments and have gone to arch federalists.

Southern and Eastern European governments are not too happy with this little carve up but as the Golden Rule says "he who has the gold makes the rules".

This clearly shows that the EU is continuing down the path of closer integration. Something that Remainers need to consider, there is no status quo here.

If someone is born here and has an allegiance to this country, they are not some kind of second tier scrag end. I do think it's important to reiterate that. They in fact belong here as much as you do and are equally deserving of playing a part in all aspects of the political process from voting to government if they so wish.

It's perfectly reasonable to both believe this and that immigration going forward should be limited.

Very true and correct BUT
They surely still have to buy into OUR way of life.
To a degree.
I'm not saying they have to believe in the same God or even believe in our western expectations.
Look at mayor khant and his attitude to bra adverts upsetting the Muslim population.
Where is his view on the high majority of protesters about the LGBTQ lessons.
This is an example of double standards for a minority.
This isnt a total pop as I dont give a s*** about skin colour.
What I give a s*** about is assimilation with the indigenous population.
