But I thought these areas along with crimea were Ukrainian in the physical sense.
Why didn't the Russian people move to Russia if that's what they wanted.

Why didn’t catholics in Northern Ireland move to the Republic?

And Russians never lost 30 plus million people fighting actual nazis?

You would think this issue might be quite important for them.

Under 17 million Russians died in World War II. Stalin killed more people in Russia - he wasn't fussy: ethnic Russians, non-ethnic Russians, Russian speaking, non-Russian speaking, people who supported him - he probably would have killed you W12.

I would have been one of the first to go.

There are a lot of figures bandied about. Whatever the figure is, it does not excuse Putin's actions - or your support of them.

There is this one brigade that apparently has far-right members. Reportedly they are very good fighters. Ukraine has to fight fascist Russia and has to use what resources it has. After all, we were allies with the digusting Stalin in WW2. Putin's excuses for his aggresion and mass-murder are laughable - as is your support of him.

Yet more railways bombed in Ukraine... No doubt either:

1) Ukrainian Neo-nazi's bombing their own countrymen to make peace loving Russia look bad or

2) Stray Ukrainian bombs being blamed on Russia

Am I right; is that the basement dweller intelligentsia line on this one?

We will await official confirmation it from the Kremlin. The gold standard of truth.

Could it be the Russians bombing the train lines to stop western arms imports by any chance or is that just wild speculation?

The protestants were the settlers just like the Russians are. The Catholics simply remained in their own country just as the Ukrainians are.

It is impossible to know the true views of ethnic Russians in the Donbas

Most have been in Ukraine for multiple generations and some certainly are fighting against Russia

Russia has moved considerable support over the border over the past 8 years and there is no doubt fomented the unrest.

It has cost Russia a huge amount to support Donbas separatists
