I kind of agree, but would he be happy to accept a super sub role?
I watched the game yesterday and it was evident that Kamada is an intelligent and neat footballer but he doesn't go past people.
In the absence of Olise it would be useful to have another player who can beat his man.
Sarr can do this through pace, but less so through trickery and footwork.
Therefore I can see the advantage of having another Zaha type in the squad which could also take some of the pressure of Eze which was demonstrated so effectively when both Olise and Eze were on the field.

But can Zaha do that these days? One player we already have who can (once he's fit again) is Franca.

Whilst we've moved on from this it always amazes me how people interpret things differently.

Olise and Wilf played together for 1 season so not sure how he can be considered a replacement.

Also Olise plays on the right and in the last few years Wilf has played predominantly on the left.

As Olise was bought in as Townsend was released and the two play in the same position (and are both left footed right wingers) surely Olise was a Townsend replacement. Not sure how any other conclusion can be made.

Nostalgia, in a fast moving business we cannot be silly sentimental fools. We are a business,I hope,first and foremost.
