Yep, it's particularly frustrating as I think with Eze. Olise and Doucouré in most games we would definitely be finishing in the top half. Agreed, even with the current coaching team.

I am hoping the Wharton deal goes through as I can see Olise Eze Guehi Andersen and Doucoure going this summer.

Realistically Olise is off isn't he unless he actively decides to stay here for another year of development, though that seems unlikely. We'll probably lose at least one of Anderson or Guehi and my preference would probably be Guehi, due to his value being a lot higher and also Anderson's long passing being difficult to replace. Holding out hope that Doucoure will stay with us after such a long injury and that Eze still might sign a new deal and give us another year. Losing both Olise and Eze in one window would be a nightmare to replace. I actually think our recruitment has been pretty good in recent seasons and if we sold Olise and Guehi for £100m+ and were able to reinvest it, we might have a weaker first XI but could have a deeper squad. Fingers crossed. It would be nice to progress from mid table.

Agreed, even with the current coaching team. Yep, with the new manager that'll be new as well. All change at the Palace next season.

He could be a Carrick type player. Freedman and co do seem better than most. These are top quality players we are going to lose so we all have our fingers crossed.

There is no way Palace (or any club (unless in financial dire straits)) would sell their 5 best players in one window esp when at least 2 are under long contracts and and another may not be fit for start of next season. They may meet the new manager and be very impressed with him and we could make a couple of signings to compliment them.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |
