Yes they are, but for obvious reasons they don’t publicise their successes. We generally only get to hear about their failures. Worrying. So for every one of these Southport situations there could be 10 that are prevented. Or none. The thing is there should be no successful attacks but we insist on a low profile, softly softly approach to these things with a hope that nothing bad happens. As the IRA used to say to the UK Government: “we only have to be lucky once; you have to be lucky all the time.” If we prevented the influx of unknown and undocumented individuals we might have a better chance of a safe society.

The good news it that the terrorist Anjem Choudary, is likely to be given a life sentence today for being leader of Al-Muhajiroun, responsible for the murder of Lee Rigby in 2013, and attacks on London Bridge in 2017 and 2019. I now await the Wisbechian squid-ink on this.

I read Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world, a lot of people in western countries like Germany are converting. On course to overtake christianity in the UK by 2050? Christianity is in steep decline by all accounts.
