I really enjoyed the dismay at the final whistle when they realised all their money couldn't even buy them a goal.

One of my gripes with officials now is that they only seem to call offside against the person who made contact with the ball. It doesn’t seem to matter if you are stood in an offside position if you don’t go for the ball. Same against Brentford, although I would suggest worse as our player was sucked in to challenge a player that was clearly offside but it was ruled he wasn’t interfering with play, leaving the unmarked player a clear header.

I preferred Brian Cloughs definition of interfering which was, if he isn’t interfering then why is he on the pitch.
