Must be one of the best Ashes sessions, breathtaking stuff. Inspired by Root although he is out, we are nevertheless 5 wickets down and 160 ahead. Excellent bowling from Cummins assisted by Lyon and unnecessary rushes by us. Stokes Bairstow Moeen that's it they must deliver.....
Where do you get such amazing cricketing insight?

I think so, we left 50 runs out there. Tomorrow we will have to find our lengths, not give anything, 174 for an Aussie victory with 7 wickets remaining it's theirs to lose. A win is possible though, and we do have runs on the board.

When I was at junior school my annual report stated the 'he would make a good cricketer' and very little else. Since then I have had very little interest in the game, and unashamedly, do not understand how folk can get so excited about it. Still, each to his own, although personally I can't wait for the last ball to be thrown and the start of the football season.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

We should’ve had a Lead of 100 from the first innings and then finished them off quite comfortably. Even if Stokes had managed to hold on to the catch towards the end, Australia would have been nine down and still needing fifty odd. I’m pretty sure we would have wrapped it up.
