At least we've still got a Conservative government to show us how it should be done.

That is why I said history is constantly being re-interpreted In due course people that were considered heroes may lose their places on high pedestals as the long-term effects of their actions are considered anew. Those that write history have a huge power but potentially only for a limited period. Unless we all get exposed to Speedlearn (see The Prisoner episode named The General). This appears to be what is happening to all sides at the moment regarding Ukraine.
