Not over it yet. 3 points would have been so handy.

Well, I've just finished a late breakfast, my rage at their last gasp goal has subsided a little so I thought I'd add my two penneth. Most has already been said, but, we played some delicious football most of the game really. Palace at last look to be an exciting team to watch, and, as much as I appreciated how the previous manager kept us up with hardly any money to spend, PV has taken our style of playing the game to another level. And he's done it quickly. There were a lot who thought it would be Christmas before we started to see things improve, if at all. So, all credit to the manager for giving us all joy at watching our beloved Palace play football after only 6 PL matches. Sure, there were faults, but to take pot shots at individuals feels out of line at this stage of the season. Our high pressing is impressive although we still lack sharpness in front of goal, but it will improve. Just a couple of individual mentions. Gallagher is the epitome of a Duracell bunny. His energy and anticipation is phenomenal. I hope Mr Parish is making constant overtures to Chelsea to buy the lad. He inspires the whole team in my view. Finally Wilf. I've been a long time fan although recently I have thought his attitude and application have been wanting. It seemed like it would have benefitted him and us to move away. Not now though. He played his socks off last night and looks like the Wilf of old. Again I believe we have the manager to thank for transforming him. Good job. Disappointed to lose 2 points at the death. But all in all a great game to watch and encouraged that we are going in the right direction. People seem to forget, we are still work in progress, building a new playing style and team. Already we are better to watch and competing in matches, rather than just soak up pressure and hope for a break away goal. It’s going to take time to get everything right, some payers are just filling in until the new players are up to speed. I find the blaming of individuals for the late goal pointless, it seemed they all went to sleep and let Brighton steal a draw, let’s hope they learn from it.

Massively disappointed to have drawn a match we thoroughly deserved to win. But aside from the defensive lapse at the end it really was a joy to watch. Yes, still a work in progress but its clear we are progressing.
Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that. |

Get the feeling we are going to give someone a right good tanking soon when it all clicks. Just a shame it wasn't Brighton.
I'm so Palace I don't even know it |

But I think we're acting like it was a shambles. The CBs played perfectly all night looked more comfortable and assured that I can ever remember at Palace. The team collectively made one minor mistake, plus lets not forget, the ball through, run and finish were all spot on. Whilst I understand what you are saying, you can hardly blame the whole team for a poor clearance by the goalkeeper and a sleeping back line. In this league minor mistakes lose matches and as others have said let's hope they learn from it!

They haven't played any of the traditional top six teams gaining their wins over relegation candidates whereas we have at least played Chelsea and Liverpool so have had a harder start to the campaign

We played well, lively and entertaining. I have heard, from a "source "(Susanna), that this seasons instructions from Steve is to keep the season interesting, for us fans, until the very end, thus keeping the punters rolling up. Dougie rightly mentioned that we wern"t going to get the champions league places, and that europa league crap would take its toll on our league status, and nobody rates it anyway, so we should stay as near to the relegation spots as possible, keeping the season alive! Suzy told me last night , that an equaliser was coming, with under a minute left, and the rest is history! On the plus side, Steve told Susanna that PV is going all out for the fa cup, and if he can get enough shekles together(steve) , for the referee, we will win it,it"s just a matter of time!

And they are 6th and we are 16th.. At this stage of the season performances are more important then where you are in the table, weeds were very nicely organised and looked dangerous every time they attacked and Welbeck's chance in the first half was as equally missed as Ayew's and in some ways very similar to Zaha's one on one, our players have to look at themselves in exactly the same way the weed did at the end of our 2-1 last season, both sides are no where near a relegation fight this season and both can look upwards with growing confidence. Calm the f*** down.

Collectively as in, VG with a poor free kick, Wilf not making an effort to get on the end of it, it going over MG's head, CK in-between the centre halves and Anderson not close enough to him But yes, lets hope its a lesson. It will hurt them so I'm sure it will sink in
