At least it seems to be falling apart and these clubs have shown their colours once again. Bridges burned within football. Hope the owners f*** right off now out of our leagues if they can't realise their masterplan. Still need to impose sanctions on them. If not legally possible, given them f all decisions on the pitch

I really hope the `scare` of this over the last few days will actually force something meaningful to happen. This will just resurface again in the future our game is no longer our game, and is becoming more distant. It will continue to do so unless something actually changes. Agreed

Whatever the objectives were of this group, it didn't take long for it to achieve them did it. Backing down now which suggests success has been grabbed and now they look like they are eating humble pie as part of their plan.

Dearly hope there will be severe sanctions for the clubs involved. Sadly won't happen. Who do you punish? The Players...they have stood united against their bosses (And all credit to them for doing it), the mangers? the fans of those clubs? the clubs themselves? Only ones who can be `punished` are the owners and with what? a poultry meaningless fine at best. I would love to see a proper fan movement come out of this. Solidarity from supporters across Europe, I'd join it to protect the game I love. `Least we forget` attitude from the last few days. A united front. What a statement it would make if every game saw the same banner being held aloft across Europe.

The new rules to the Champions League have snuck through under the noses of most fans. Just as abhorrent as the ESL imho. A `coefficient` over years used to determine who is in it. Not based solely on where you finish in your domestic season. You can guarantee that will mean a `smaller` club will be robbed of taking part. I hope we unite in condemnation alongside whichever clubs falls victim to it.

Saw one report that Chelsea and Man City were bullied by Man united and real Madrid. I think that makes it even worse playing the victims now. LOL
