So what? If you disagree with something booing is an option. If there were silence then the pro kneeling could claim everyone accepted what they didn't. Agreed otherwise you are just shutting down any opposition. It is perfectly valid to boo at football matches it's part of our culture.

Booing a refereeing decision or a sh*t performance is hardly comparable to an anti-racism gesture. Find it quite staggering some of the justifications you lot will make to yourself that what happened was OK.

True, but I choose to largely ignore your posts rather than actively boo them. Conversely I quite enjoy your posts.....a textbook, kind of innocent social liberalism. Which I usually mock...admittedly. Edited by Stirlingsays (07 Dec 2020 10.29am)

If it was a gesture of KickItOut it'd at least be relevant to football. Feels like this is going to be here a long time, with noone wanting to stop first. The meaning is being lost now it's common place every weekend, and And I have To say well done Millwall for voicing their disapproval. It may actually start people talking, and move this on.

This is almost like a quasi religion which attempts to replace the traditional religions adopted by the West and then largely rejected. Your kind is like the new Spanish inquisition, persecuting all non believers. Your indoctrination is complete and like a virus, you want to infect all others with the same illness.

Lets all make an assumption that a % of people who take the knee in this manner are doing so with zero knowledge about what BLM actually stands for but instead are doing it as a kindly gesture of solidarity over issues of racism in general. But perhaps this now causes real confusion and therefore it might be for the best if a new gesture is agreed upon which clears up any notion that this is political? Probably the sensible solution. It would certainly remove any ambiguity over exactly why they are doing it (and anyone continuing to boo would literally have no excuse).

You don't half spout some utter nonsense. You are a typical case of indoctrination. Your narcissism drives your belief that what you believe has to be right and more, that all others must be prevented from being wrong.

Jamie Vardy recently kicked down a corner flag that was being used to display the 'rainbow' flag during a goal celebration. It's subsequently been used in many dissident right memes and caused much myrth. It's obviously wasn't intentional however it exposures a problem in football at the moment. Its continual use for social and political messaging. Pretty much all corporations are pushing the same messages. If you have to bring your politics into football, have a badge on your shirt like the poppy situation and do your politics in your own time not with captive audiences. Football matches don't exist for your politics. I said the same thing about 'Tommy Robinson' chants last year. Edited by Stirlingsays (07 Dec 2020 10.56am)

The best solution I can think of is getting rid of taking the knee - as it's literally nothing to do with us. Then we could change 'kick it out' to something far less catchy like 'zero tolerance for racism in football'. Any racism = ban. Not just made up racism because someone didn't kneel. I think most of us wouldn't mind about that. I don't really want racists chanting at football - nor does anyone.
