Who is to blame for the way we play ?
We are so defensive we have forgotten how to attack, to score you need to atleast have a shot on goal, we have some really good players, our front players can't score with no service from the midfielders, our midfielders are set up to defend not attack, not saying we should be Barcelona but FFS have a go.

I wholeheartedly concur with these sentiments.
Absolutely dreadful football.

It would have been an extremely lucky win, but let’s not get too down. Jairo’s performance was a massive plus and it’s good to have such a strong bench.

Here are the ratings...

Guiata 7

Ward 5
Kouyate 8
Cahill 6
Mitchell 5

Townsend 5
McArthur 6
Riedewald 9
Schlupp 6

Zaha 5

Just awful... Our insistence on playing this way against teams like Brighton is mind boggling... Forget our first couple of games...
We are now playing exactly as we were the last 8 games of last season and will continue to do so...

1 shot on target in 2 games... unbelievable

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Well that's one I won't be watching the highlights of.

A great training game for the defence just a shame we played without an attack.

Needs to be better next week, can't be much worse tbh.

I paid £200 not to, that’s ironic. Utter garbage Roy, wtf is he thinking when he watches this s*** game after game. Thank F for c 19 for closing the grounds.

Very deflating watching us lately, got to have more to your bow than just being "organised" and defending well.

We don't play football any more as its meant to be played. Where's our enthusiasm to get the ball and where's our intent to score?

We used to have an attacking threat. Used to enjoy watching us.

Our two wins came against teams who weren't match ready and sadly my optimism is rapidly disappearing. Defensively we were solid today but we seem to have no ideas going forward. I know it's a results based business but we are quite frankly terrible to watch at the moment. The one highlight was Jairo. He stood out, albeit in a flat performance. Thankfully Brighton aren't as good as they think they are and Mitchell largely shut Lamptey out, as against quality players we would have lost this.

With players like Jairo, Eze, Wilf, Andros and Bats we have the quality to manage more than one shot on goal. I am a man of endless patience but unlike in the past I think our results are flattering us and that worries me long term for the season.

Dunk should get a 5 game ban for that career ending style challenge. Absolute d!ckhead.

Jairo 9? Crikey we have let our standards slip, Werner got a 9 yesterday to put in perspective.
