'The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money' (Thatcher)

This country already borrows every year just to stay afloat.

When taken as a whole Immigration is a net financial loss to the economy. An intelligent analysis of it would look to restrict the parts of it that cost far more than others.

But politicians rarely do anything intelligent.

The point I am making is in response to the idea that there aren't enough services available to further an anti immigrant narrative.

I think the reason is far simpler, put the money in to fund it, this article explains

Net migration has averaged 250,000 since 2003 but your answer is to spend more money? What is the magic number at which you admit there are too many people? 70m? 100m? More?

So your argument is that the Tories don't fund services properly so we should import another 250k people a year so the Tories need to find even more funds that they won't provide?

Brilliant.

And if someone does provide the money for all the houses and the roads and the NHS blah blah, who is paying for it?

Yep, we would with more tax. Not you, because you live in Holland.

So in effect, people who have paid tax all their lives will be paying even more for an increasing number of people who have been here for only 5 minutes.

Er, no if more people are here, more people are paying tax, hence there should be be more money to pay for public services to meet the needs of the people. Simple logic

Strange how same people argue employment is at record highs as a reason Brexit is good but on here argue we're poor and don't have funds for our schools and hospitals. Cognitive dissonance again

I've already told you that high employment has nothing to do with immigration. How can it?

Every person who comes here costs more money. Some of them might pay tax but that is clearly not enough to cover the costs of sufficiently improving infrastructure.

More importantly. How crowded do you want Britain to become? It is already the most crowded country in Europe.
But then, you live in Holland where there are more pigs than people.

You don't need a link to know bringing your children means the kids don't pay tax.
