I'll post my blinkered pea-brained attitude on here if I damn well like and if you don't want to share your forum with football fans I've already given you a suggestion. I think the real reasons you don't use dedicated politucs fora are a) real experts in this area would wipe the floor with you and b) their operators and moderators would't stand for your high-handed, bullying behaviour for five minutes. Edited by chateauferret (05 Feb 2019 9.52pm) Neither will the ones on here take too much of posters having goes at other posters and posting on subjects off topic on a thread. If you want to talk only football, you have the choice of Palace Talk, Transfer Talk and Ticket Talk.

Oh yeah, that's the other thing. If you dare to disagree with any of these people they can't wait to smack you down, belittle you and try to make you feel guilty for daring to state your opinion. As for "no true Scotsman" - you've made the elementary error of assuming that my location and my nationality are the same. Open mouth, insert foot. If I were Scottish how likely is it that I'd have been Palace for 45 years? Idiot.
And you call me an idiot. Edited by Stirlingsays (05 Feb 2019 10.09pm)

Congratulations, for what it's worth. You may now continue to give outsiders the impression that we're no better than Millwall. Fill your boots.

Yeah, what you did was pretty amusing....but don't sweat it: we all make mistakes. Anyway....we have pretty much exhausted the themes of the 'black culture museum' topic.

I've never got this tbh. Neither have I. The news and politics can wait until full time. Not that long really, is it? But this is good. Bit late for popcorn. Maybe not.

Think you miss the point slightly You can see many threads started on here only to do with issues of race which are designed to be provocative and Inevitably end in bickering and arguing which was the initial intention. I think that's how they get their kicks, for me that's trolling but also this seems to have dominated this part of the forum and drowned out other sensible debates on news and politics. I think it's why Alot of contributors have left, shame.

Have a look around the world and you may realise a huge amount of press and current news is about race and equality. It is the vogue thing and will be for eons. To be negative in an opinion over certain aspects isnt trolling. Not talking and discussing it will be unhealthy and brushing it under the carpet is very dangerous. Race is and has been for a long time, the biggest elephant in the room and many people are afraid of divulging their true feelings for fear of being hounded as a racist. Liam Neeson is a victim of this culture with black activists trying their best to end his career for something that he "thought" forty years ago and they are aided and abetted by the media who scent blood. One of the major stories on the home page of the BBC website is an article by a black woman stating that this could end Neeson's career. Where is the article from someone with a more balanced view stating that it's all just a storm in a teacup?

TBF the Today programme referred to print media articles covering both sides of the debate and made clear that opinion is divided.

PS there is a separate thread on Neeson. This one is about a prospective black culture museum; and I haven't seen a post that fits my thoughts better than Badger's on page 1. Nice to agree with you on something Badger. Now, back to the Brexit thread...
