Southampton had (And might still have)a dossier of potential managers that was constantly updated, with intelligence on those considered the best fits for Southampton.

They appointed Puel who only lasted a season, then Pellegrino who never lasted a season and he was followed by Hughes who wasn't there that long.

They hired the wrong style of manager in Pellegrino and then got so panicky about relegation they hired Mark Hughes. Whoever was in charge of decisions at the time made a bad one I could see happening beforehand and then felt had to not take any other risk and so hired a British merry go round manager.

Not havian idea of who you may have as options to approach is amateur and criminal at this level but something that happens with us all the time because there’s always an escape artist available. Not any more there isn’t. Parish, Freedman and Brighty looking on google it’ll be then.

Apart from Huddersfield have the smallest budget in the league and we have the 9th biggest. They're where you would expect them to be. Hodgson is underachieving, lose against Liverpool and with the other results going against us which could quite easily happen and we're battling Cardiff for survival.

Huddersfield have spent over £100m since they were promoted, we haven’t the 9th biggest. Check your facts first.
Roy’s teams have performed well except for maybe 2-3 games, just not had the rub of the green in some and poor finishing in most.
Why aren’t we going to be battling Fulham, Huddersfield and Newcastle for survival, they are in the bottom 3 now.

I'm sure if he could he would love to bring in Jesus or Salah, but seeing as he is such a bad manager what would be the point.

What is your definition of a bad manager?

A number of ex international players have publicly stated Roy was the best club manager they played under. When have you ever met him or played for him?

My figures indicate that their Net Spend is not quite as high as that - Around £80 Mill.

All I can say is, Roy, be more attack minded at home. Don't make excuses that you have no options. Options are there but you do not take them, because your mindset is narrow. No plan B? Try alternatives. When you are 2-1 down at home to the likes of Watford what is there to lose?

Budget and salaries are not the same. Your little chart shows average salary, so that would depend on how many players on the pay roll. Obviously a club can way below us in your chart, but if they have more players then their wage bill could be higher.

Our only issue is not scoring

He inherited benteke and Wickham was already injured. We need a striker. We have no money

What part of this is roys fault? He’s presented a team that attacks at will but need decent front men.

Yes he fkd up with sorloth but only had 10 m to spend and who knows, that Norwegian club May had accepted 1m up front cos we are skint. Not many teams would accept the money we have available after big January spends in recent years

None of this is roys fault.

My only gripe would be has should make earlier subs but even if that happened I’d bet it wouldn’t have made that much of a major difference

..I was playing a bit of irony to the post above, if you read the posts on here it's quite obvious the way I feel.
